The chalk board |
The trick: the magician shows both sides of a black oar. He draws
a white line on one side with a piece of chalk. The line then multiplies
and appears on the other side. When he sharply hits the paddle against
another surface, the line forms a zigzag pattern on only one side.
He hits the paddle once again and the zigzag pattern appears on
both sides. With a magical gesture, the magician stretches out the
zigzag line and straight lines now appear once again on both sides.
